After Inuyama, we headed back to Nagoya and got lunch at Solo Pizza. The chef there won an award at a pizza competition in Italy for the World’s Best Pizza!

Strolling through Nakaotai and Gosho Jinja Summer Festival!

We got back to Nagoya early, but it looked like it would rain. As soon as we got into the apartment, it started pouring, so we decided to just rest and do our laundry.

Yesterday, we took Mom and Brittany to see Kiyomizudera. Unfortunately, much of it is under restoration, but the parts we could see were nice.

Fushimi Inari Taisha

After the sake museum, the weather seemed to be okay, so we went to Fushimi Inari Taisha, a huge shrine to the goddess Inari. There are thousands of huge, red torii at this shrine.

Nishiki Market and the Cat Cafe

We were going to head to Fushimi Inari Taisha and the Gekkeikan Sake Museum after Nara, but then there was a torrential downpour. Since we’re in the path of a strong typhoon, we decided to not trust the weather, and we headed back to Kyoto for some covered arcade/indoor activities.
