Our friends Nico and Fernando invited us to go see Nabano no Sato’s winter illumination with them last weekend.
This pond is right near the entrance for the illumination.
They weren’t quite fully bloomed, but there were many beautiful plum blossoms there.
More plum blossoms.
The lights around the water were very beautiful.
Here is another shot of the lake.
The light tunnel is one of the prettiest parts.
This year’s main display was Niagara Falls.
If you look really closely, you can see Superman off to the right-hand side.
Finale of fireworks on the Niagara Falls display.
You have to pay 2100 yen to get into the illumination, but it comes with 1000 yen in coupons for the gift shop, so I used my coupons and Teddy’s to get these crystal cell phone straps and turned them into earrings!
Well, that’s all for Nabana no Sato! The next post will be about Odaka Ryokuchi Koen and Arimatsu!
