Yesterday was our last day in Kyoto. We started out the day by going to Nijo Castle.

A rock garden on the palace grounds.
After Nijo Castle, we walked over to Morpho Cafe, a vegan place nearby.
We got the Vegan Lunch set. This was the salad.
This was the rice and soup.
This was the rest of the set.
We also got the drink and dessert! The dessert was a banana-coconut tart, and I got iced coffee.
Well, that’s all for Nijo Castle and lunch! The next post will be about Gion Matsuri’s pre-festival activities!
