This morning it was rainy, so we started out by heading to Fushimi to see the Gekkeikan Sake Museum.
Here’s my mom posing with sake barrels at Chushojima Station.
This is the outside of the museum.
Me, Mom, and Brittany at the Gekkeikan Sake Museum.
Outside at the sake museum.
Sake brewing equipment.
Gourd sake bottles.
They had these 18 LITER sake bottles. How you pour from them, I haven’t a clue.
A sake server.
Stamps used to mark bottle labels.
A replica of a sake shipment boat.
This museum is awesome. For 300 yen, you get admission to the museum, a free small bottle of sake to take home, and you get to have 3 free samples.
Well, that’s all for the museum. The next post will be about Fushimi Inari Taisha!
