Today, a typhoon came to Japan, so we had a really intense thunderstorm. Needless to say, we did NOT go the Bunny Island.
Instead, we went to the Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum.
An ink drawing of beetles.
Various insects in ink on parchment.
We made rubbing pictures.
We also got to see various frozen tapestries.
A close-up of one of the tapestries.
A cute horse statue.
The horses’ partner.
Teddy and Brittany got croissant sets.
Mom and I got the cassis tart set.
The rain was super ridiculous, so me and Mom wore ponchos.
We got lunch at an Indian restaurant called Rupal neasr Hiroshima Station.
Mom and Brittany with their lunches.
We ATTEMPTED to go to a cat cafe, but it was “unexpectedly closed”. Instead, we saw this hilarioud sign.
We also tried to go to a mall, but the train line was stopped for some reason, so we just gave up, went to the supermarket, and came back to the hostel.
Everybody please send good thoughts/do an anti-rain dance/pray for good weather for us tomorrow, cause we’re off to Kyoto!
