Arakogawa Koen Lavender Matsuri

Today, we biked down to Arakogawa Koen (a 13.8 km ride one way!) to see the Lavender Festival.

These cool, life sized giraffe statues were outside a store on our way down.

This bee was so big and fat, he had to keep flapping his wings while collecting pollen from the lavender because he was so heavy.

Teddy said that the highlight for him was this cake set. We got lavender chocolate chip ice cream, lavender chiffon cake, blueberries, whipped cream, a cookie, and lavender flavored iced tea.

Something about the way this pigeon is sitting just makes me laugh.

After the park, we went to the nearby AEON mall, where we saw this amazing Buzz Lightyear and Woody! Woody was over 6 feet tall!!

Well, that is all for this weekend!
