Ichinomiya Tower Park Winter Illumination

Today, after baking cookies with another teacher from school, we all went out to Ichinomiya Tower Park to see the winter illumination there!!

The theme was Galaxy, so there were spaceships and stars.

There were lots of disco balls at the illumination.

You could walk up this building, but the line was long, so we just admired it from the ground.

Here is the building again with the tower in the background.

Some more pretty lights.

We totally missed the last bus back from the park, so we stayed and watched the fireworks (which lasted less than ten minutes…)

We had to walk about 20 minutes. Luckily, because the fireworks started 7 minutes after the last bus, the bus center had prepared a map showing the last bus from a nearby bus stop with the time it came. Unfortunately, we of course missed the 7:35 bus from that stop, and had to wait until 8:44 for the last bus. 😦
